I thought I would give you a little taste of our 2010 vacation to New Mexico.

We visited Carslbad Caverns, Roswell and Bitter Lakes Wildlife Refuge.  There is a really cool hotel in Artisia called:  Hotel Artisia.

A new hobby: Whittling.

I wanted to try something new.  I gave these to my son for Christmas.  It takes a little time and a sharp knife.

 I had to use a rotary tool on parts of it.

Painted and ready to play!!  They were both a block of wood 1x2x4 inches.
